Welcome to the new milestone of bottle feeding!
Pura Kiki Baby Bottle Review
Stainless steel eco baby bottles successfully established a good space in the baby bottle market. Plastic feeding bottles are highly popular and widely used by most parents. Plastic baby bottles are cheap and easy to use. But plastic is bad for our baby and even BPA-free alternatives are just as bad. BPA-Free labeled plastic bottles also leach harmful chemicals. In some cases, the BPA-free products released chemicals that can cause extensive damage than the products containing BPA. There are some measures we can take to protect our baby from these toxins by avoiding plastic bottles and by picking bottles made of glass or stainless steel.
I never tried glass bottles due to the heavyweight. Glass is a glass that can break easily when dropped regardless how rigid it is. Glass Bottles needs more care which is not possible with babies especially with fussy infants.
Recently I bought the Pura Kiki Stainless Steel Infant Bottle for my 9-months-old son. I have been using Philips Avent 260ml Natural Feeding Bottle (Clear, Pack of 2) for my little k before finding Pura Kiki. I was delighted to discover plastic-free baby feeding bottles, especially since the nipple is made of food-grade silicone. Pura stainless steel feeding bottles are the proven safe and 100 percent plastic free.

Pura Kiki Baby Bottle Review: My Hands-on Test Results
Kiki bottles have different look than any other bottle on the market today. These are easy to use, clean and come with a perfect wide base nipple. I love the bottle finishing and its sleek, modern appearance. It is very light weighted and kids can easily hold it. Top of this eco baby bottle is quite appealing. The travel cover keeps the bottle from leaking and also keeps the silicone straw clean. During my usage, the sleeve was quite difficult to put on initially. The Kiki bottle comes with a measurement on both sides.
The Pura Kiki feeding bottles come in different sizes in five different colors or natural stainless steel. It also offers silicone sleeves available for purchase separately. The Pura bottles offer three flow rates for its nipples. Pura Kiki baby bottle can store both expressed and formula milk easily and a longer period of time. If mom is pumping she can pump right into this bottle. The Kiki baby bottles are insulated which keeps the milk warm or cold for a longer time. Don’t worry it will last pretty long time than the other two baby bottle materials (Plastic & Glass). It is highly recommended always check the temperature before giving to baby.
Kiki Baby Bottles are easy to change from nipples to a sippy cup.
Pura Kiki stainless steel is the most durable and recyclable product. As the company claims Kiki baby bottles can last up to 10 years. It is labeled as a re-purpose-able bottle. As the child grows Silicon top can be changed with next stage silicon top from a nipple, with a sippy spout, to a straw and finally to a sports top. These bottles are not only easy to change from nipples to a sippy cup but they are also compatible with several other major brands of nipples and spouts.
Next, the biggest question is this a dishwasher safe? Yes, the bottle and its components are perfectly safe for the dishwasher. Baby bottles and all their parts need to be clean after each use. My son loves to drop things on the floor and during my usage it didn’t spill. I did holding down the bottle and no water was coming out.
Pura Kiki is a one time and zero wastage investment. This Plastic-free and toxic-free feeding system are safe for daily use, for both indoor and outdoor use.
Why I love the Kiki Baby Bottles most:
While comparing with other branded feeding bottles, Pura Kiki powerfully scores the top position. These bottles have eliminated all plastic materials. While other feeding bottles come with plastic lids, spouts, handles, and prints, Pura Kiki is 100 % plastic free. Pura Kiki baby feeding bottles are labeled as a non-toxic certified bottle. One of the biggest benefits of Pura bottle is that it adapts to and grows with the family. This bottle easily converts into a sippy bottle, straw bottle or sports bottle by simply swapping the silicon top with another Pura silicone lid.
Downsides of Pura Kiki Feeding Bottle:
- You can’t see how much you’re putting in and also difficult to know how much your baby has consumed.
- On the front of cost, Kiki baby bottles are the most expensive bottle system as compared with other available feeding options.
- Don’t buy a colored bottle as the paint tends to crack with everyday use.
In nutshell, I enjoyed my experience with eco-progressive Kiki bottles. However, we can invest few extra bucks to meet that level of high health and safety standards. So I don’t think that sacrifice really matters you. I want to advise this non-toxic product to other mothers as well. Through this Pura kiki review post, I also want to thanks Pura for designing such safe and plastic-free baby feeding bottles and supporting in making a hassle-free life of mommas.
